I play the north west region. usually the bartley (mon), palais on tues night (the best venue btw), the crows tav on wed. then lakes and hackney on thurs and some times if im lucky the hilton on saturday.

Ive been playing for essentually 1.75 seasons...sounds kinda precise...

Well, I consider myself ok although sometimes I just get frustrated (or get on tilt for the poker savvy) and just do some stupid stuff..

Favourite hand would have to be Suited Connectors, but for some reason seems to give me the most pots out of them all. Also love AK suited.

So yeah, outside of the poker world I enjoy computer stuff, Im studying to be a programmer (Although I can already program I need that peice of paper to get anywhere)

So yeah, thats about it.

Hi Andy here,

I don't do much at work except play around on the computer all day so thought I'd sign up. Started playing poker at the Goody in season one and have been hooked ever since. Play now at the Goody, Holdy, Morphett Arms and the Grand. Have been lucky enough to have won a few tournaments and even got to play in the Sky City Champs and collect some cash. While I'm at it I'd like to send my thanks to Garth for his help during that tournament and say that young Daniel is a legend. I'd also like to say that I think James at the Goody and Matt at the Grand are the best TD's and both run a good show.

Its amazing how all these people can get together and play poker without fights and carry on. Everyone who plays Poker must be pretty cool.

Good job on the forum guys keep up the good work.

I love what the NPL guys have done for Poker in SA. It's awesome now. Good to see how well the game is doing here. Nothing better than going to a local and playing some cards with mates and poker addicts! So a big thanks to all the NPL lads for putting poker where it should be in SA....mainstream!

Alright, it's actually Matt, frequently Matty in Poker circles. I'm the host down at the Semaphore Palais on Tuesday nights where we're doing quite nicely thank you. I play rarely but fervently as I love the game. I make final tables as often as not but because I'm a cautious player, I always find myself short stacked on my arrival at said table. 5th therefore is my best finish. It's something I'm working on and I'm getting better at it but as long as I flog my mates at home games I'm happy. I generally play at The Lakes, Crows or The Bartley, but not often enough....(2 kids under three). Alex is a legend as are all the guys who frequently frequent The Palais...you know who you are guys and gals....thanks to you all for your support and have a safe and happy 2008.

Started off playing @ Winstons (APL), played a few games at Ambassadors, a game at Savvy's, and now thought i'd start at the Highlander on Sundays.

Would love to go each night, but depends on when i work. Im in the city, this week finishing at 6.30.
Is Swish operating this season? Its my birthday on thursday, i should go to the queens arms!

I enjoy bodyboarding and mountain bike riding, playing soccer.

Im lizi i mainly play in the CBD venues(which i find funny cause i'm from down south) Checkers on mondays, strath on tuesday and thursdays, swish and woolshed on wednesday and a couple of places down south christies, seaford etc.

i never really use to be into poker much but when it started at my work (the Woodcroft) it grows on ya and its a great way to meet people that enjoy playing for fun etc. Made states finals for the first time last season and it was the one of the funnest expriences ive had .
