I build websites as part of what i do for a living and changing the details for the prize package is a one hour job and i am being generous when i say that. As for the error when searching results etc that may be a little more complicated and we should probably cut them a little slack on that issue. The website for the npl is below standard compared to the website of an inferior poker leauge and should definately be looked at considering this is the first impression that many people see when they are trying to find a poker leauge to join.

Just my two pennies worth

Chocolate Man - Yes, you're right.

But let's say I look after a site for your business, and you need it changed, and I don't ... you can't change it yourself - so you're stuck.

Then i would take my business elsewhere. Get new I.T people who will repair and update things in a timely manner. A business is only as good as the staff you have and the service they offer. If i continually made excuses day in and day out to my clients on why i could not fix there computer or update there website i dare say i would be in the line at centrelink next week.

Unfortunately it isnt the South Australian staff's decision on who does IT for the national website.

Not as easy when your IT guys are actually business owners as well. The way NPL works is a complicated path, NPL Sydney actually own NPL and run NPL in NSW and QLD.
Sportspick, our company, actually has bought the licencing rights for Vic, Tas and SA. We get to run what sort of comp we want with the NPL branding and everything associated with it, but unfortunately NPL Sydney regains control of all databases and everything website, again a great drawback.

Everything that has previously been stated in this topic I have requested. I have also proposed just creating our own NPL SA.com.au website for all venues and events details. I also agree that the NPL website needs a drastic overhaul and someone that can effectively administer it.

It was the ease of the NPL website compared to the double P one that got me playing NPL. Dunno what the A one is like.

To be honest, taking looks away from it, I find the NPL site really easy to find things on.
