Hi there David. I assume you're the one who set this forum up so I have a queerie.
Is it possible to put a spell checker on here when people post?????
Or better still, one that automatically checks all the gramma, spelling, etc, when they click on "submit".
So, I can enjoy reading the links/threads/posts or whatever they are in comfort?

Mozilla Firefox has a spell checker - basically as you're typing your reply, it'll bring up any spelling errors with that lovely red squiggly line.
And even if a spell checker was added, I doubt it'd get used

True AK, so very true. But sometime I get frustrated trying to understastand what they are trying to say.
(I was actually gonna write decypher but I wasn't sure if it was correct LOL)
So where is this spell checker again??? My butt is getting so sore I'm going.

Mozilla Firefox - very nice tabbed browser. Quicker than IE too.
http://getfirefox.com Safari - also nice and quick with tabs. Doesn't have the password saving features of firefox and IE tho
http://www.apple.com/safari/Both have speelchkers. I suspect that Opera also does too.
I use firefox *sometimes* and safari I'm starting too. But some pages just don't look right in browsers other than IE.
Happy spelling!
I really need to stop browsing this site whilst I should be studying - what does procrastination and masturbation have in common and all that! (Whilst typing this sentence I just noted a really cool feature on Safari - you can drag out the size of the text input box. )

for pages that dont load properly in firefox, use this extension
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1419this means u can effectively use IE but with the firefox skin. i find it pretty handy, and it also means that u dont have to switch to IE

Some sites just will not work in anything but IE (windows update is one).
Regarding spell checking, I'd love to see it happen but it still relies upon the person actually using the right word eg: your/you're or to/two/too etc.
So you can spell the word correctly, but still manage to look like a complete idiot.
If you're ever not sure just open up a new tab (IE 7 has tabbed browsing) and hop onto dictionary.com - it's US English (which is bad) but it always seems to have a UK (and that means Australian) English version if the word is different, such as for 'colour'.
Hope that helps everyone.

I love Firefox.. when you make a typo it underlines the error in red, just as if you were in Word.
And yes, I use IE for WindowsUpdate

Everything else, FF!

I've always used afl.com.au on firefox, no problems here
