RESULTS FOR SUNDAYS WIN A TABLE COMP AT THE GARDENS

Hi there Guys and Gals.
I have been waiting for someone to do a thread on Sundays Special Game at the Parafield Gardens Community Club.
Greg was kind enough to offer a brand new 8 seater Poker Table and a leather caraselle type chip holder with chips to the winner. There were 50 qualifiers but I believe only around 37 runners turned up.
Little budah Allan Mathews was the first player out on the very first hand with AQ. Unfortunately Al was a little offside with me as we usually shake b4 the game for luck. I was messin around with him so it never happened, sorry M8 next time.
Any way it was a really good bunch of players and the final table was made up of 8 runners. In pos #1 Deano, #2 Michael S, #3 myself, #4 Goose, #5 Marky, #6 Anthony, #7 Luke, #8 I think was Mike. Sorry if I have the wrong names any where.
I have $5k and BB is $4k which seems to be the norm lately as I pleaded with everyone to fold and give me a free ride. Everyone folded around to SB Michael who put me ALLIN. Not happy but he had a hand pocket tens. I turned Ace rag and it was so funny coz I hit the 5 on the river to make a straight.
Next hand I'm SB looking at KK and Deano goes ALLIN. Obviously I go ALLIN too and he turns over pocket ACES. His aces held up and I was out of the running.
A lot of too and froing to finally have heads up between Mark and Deano. The small blind chip got passed back and forth for around 7 or 8 hands and finally one goes allin and the other calls. Can't remember the cards but Mark took it down and won the table and chip set.
In the mean time Sou Rattattattat is on the phone organising the table to picked up and taken to her house LOL. The boys almost live at Sou and Airs place so I guess it was going there any way.
Thanks again Greg a nice gesture and an excellent prize. I'm sure Mark will thank you on Wednesday noght as he got caught up in the moment. Thanks also to Tim who offered to run the tourney ands as usual did an excellent job. (remember Tim BOB B)
