Aussie Millions Satellite Prizes?

I know what the ultimate prize is... but are there any prizes for placings or is it winner take all?

I thought about this earlier today, from what I can gather it's winner takes all.

I would hope theres some sort of prize for final table.

Most internet poker sites still have small cash prizes for some places. It would have been nice to get something for making the final table.

In fact the person who finished 9th got more than me. He had not qualified for the state finals. Because he made the FT they gave him a seat. I finished 4th and walk home without nothing.

A chip set or something would have been nice.

I agree with both of you! Andre is right, it's a satellite, they don't usually have prizes (usually)... but as far as Des goes - to get through that many people and finish so high and get nothing, when people finishing 9th get entry into the state finals (which is a joke, I reckon) really sucks.

Hi Guys,
It's me again. The idea behind offering state finals seats for final table players was to offer some other prizes. We like to see our best players at the State Finals. And for all of our final table players to outlast 390+ runners says alot about the skills of those players. Congratulations and well played all.
We felt that if they have achieved final table then they should qualify for the State Finals as they have proven themselves to be quality players. Another 4 players on top of the 600+ qualifiers wasn't really going to make a huge difference over all.
I do agree with Des, to make it all that way and walk away with nothing is gut wrenching. I have done it myself in several online satellites. This is an open forum so I would like to hear your recommendations and feedback? We love to hear from our players and do everything we can to see that their wishes get fulfilled. Without our loyal customers there is no NPL. Maybe we should start another forum topic?
