What is the longest distance you have travelled for a game of NPL poker??

I want to nominate Lindsay Mather as the king of travel!!

Lindsay was introduced to Texas Holdem Poker 6 weeks ago whilst working on a job in Riverton. His job finished up last week but now travels to Riverton each week from his home at North Haven. That's about a 230km round trip. Now thats DEDICATION.

For those of you that may recognise the name......Lindsay won a seat into Flight 4 of the Sky City. He was the gentleman who came second to Daniel Booth who won his $3000.00 seat. We all know how that ended up.

By the way...Lindsay got another well placed 3rd last night.

Myself and another poker player
drove to wallaroo on the october long weekend for something different to play at. When we got there they were expecting a riot coz about 2000 indigious people were in town for a sporting thingy. At 6:30pm after we had paid for our meal, the pub was locked up and the blinds pulled down to pretend that no one was there.. We played poker lost and then got the hell out of there.. As we left the pub the main street was like a ghost town.. The riot was on its way but we left before the car could get damaged.

spent a lazy monday afternoon driving down to bordertown only 25 runners and still coudn`t get points but had fun meeting the locals Don`t like to set my target to high i`m happy with 10 points got back in time to have a scotch with tony the owner of checkers

Me and a mate travel from the Barossa to Cue Sports most Friday arvo's. It's measured out as a 6-pack trip tho, dunno what it is in K's.
