Hey Bruce,
Thanks for the feature. Would have been good if you had Simon's ROYAL FLUSH in there and my runner, runner trip "4"s and poor old Zack's AK bust out to our "Chopped" pocket queens !!!!!

That was an awesome final table without doubt the most exciting we've seen for a long time (maybe ever )!!!

Congratulations to Mick he played fantastic poker !!

Matty excelled himself in the dealing stakes, he will never be able to do that again !!! (but we live in hope)

TA....yea late minute stuff after Matty yells ' wheres the Camera...??? he'd had just dealt a Royal Flush and quoted how many hands a regular player needs to play in a life time.. to get a RF.
camera quality fair as it came from my mobile phone whos memory card filled up near the end..

A bit of maths for you zack and others

using combination theory, there are 2,598,960 different 5 card poker hands. 4 of these combinations are royal flushes.

so the chances of getting a royal flush are 1 in 649740.

a slight complication is that the above is for a 5 card hand, not the best 5 cards out of 7 cards. so we have to multiply this number by 21, as there are 21 5 card combinations that can be made with 7 cards.

so the actual number is 1 in 30940 hands.

that is the probability of a royal flush, but that doesn't mean that you will get one in that time, or that you wont get more than that.

myself, i have never been dealt a royal, let alone a straight flush in holdem (i have folded one, and been dealt one in omaha but that doesn't count). i reckon i would have easily played in the hundreds of thousands of hands without getting even a straight flush. some people i know have got lots.
