My Proxy wins the 1st Settlers Bulleit Promo

My wife and I had to make a quick trip to the Barrosa Valley yesterday afternoon, her suggestion was she would go to Bingo and I could play poker.
At first I thought of playing the Kingy, but I decided to play at Settlers, Mark and Suzie were the TC's for the night with a new staff member.
Tp enter the Bulleit promotion you have to buy a Bulliet stubby and your name go's in for the Bad Beat Table, 8 players would be drawn out, If you were still in the main game you could appoint a proxy to play your chair.
The Bulleit Bourbon Bad Beat Table prize package is a 750ml Bottle, a carton of stubbies and a Polo shirt. I was the 2nd name drawn out(Thanks Mark) as I was still in the main game a quick scan of the room I noticed a young bloke I had seen at other venues and played sometimes I invited him to play my chair.
Main game were are broken down to 2 tables and the bubble has just burst for points when my proxy player asks me do I want the bottle or the box, I thought he had done a deal with the last remaining player to carve up the 1st and 2nd Prize so I said the box thinking a we could cut the box in half and share.
I continued with my game I'm down to 4k and UTG blinds are 2000/4000 so with pocket 6's I put my money in and triple up 6's hold, I go to final table with 12000, during the short break I find out my proxy player had won the table we won the lot, I sort out my proxy player to see what he would like for winning for me, he was more than hapy to take the bottle of Bulleit home he and his mate were as pleased as heck, I got the feeling they might be heading off home to do some damage to that bottle of Bourbon.
Final table of the main game was fairly uneventful from my chair I played a few hands folded a BB after another player jammed on my SB I jam and get 1 caller, I show [jh] [9h] my caller shows [10c] [10d] flop 3 spades including a 10 he has hit a set and I have a straight draw the turn another spade and that gives me the straight draw, the river is another spade and thats a chop. I finish the night in 4th.
All in all a very good night.

Don't really care where it was coz I just look at "my Posts" and "New Posts"!!! And if there's something new in either one I read it.
