just thought i would post to say i am PUMPED about the semi finals this season.

as dakota said last night, its about time i make a deep run in one of these again, and i wholeheartedly agree.

thought it might be cool for people to post their best achievements, throw down the gauntlet, state their goals for this finals, and maybe some prop bets.

Best Semi Final Finish: Won June 2009 state final for 10k

Other Notable Finishes: Winner of Individual teams event tourney for about $300. 3rd in a FTT terminator event for $550. won a GF ticket in a $10 rebuy.

Last Semi Finish: about 20 minutes before the recombine at the arkaba

Goals for this semi final: to make a deep run and cash, and from there look at making a final table

Prop bets: i was going to do a big last longer for this event again, but unfortunately i dont know a lot of you guys in person, so its a bit hard to do before hand. so on the day, i might be doing a $20 last longer - if i haven't met you before and you want to be a part, then hopefully we can work out a way to get you involved.

Im also extremely pumped about this. When the structure was released a while ago my manhood stirred a little. Will be a great opportunity for a deep run.

Best Semi Final Finish: 17th for $250. Seaford state finals (like ages ago)

Other Notable Finishes: Won riverland regional champs ($500), 6th Berri Deepstack II, final tabled 4/5 regional finals.

Last Semi Finish: made the recombine, got my aces cracked by a gutshot when the money went in on the flop for a huuuge pot. tilted bad and kicked stuff in the coridor on my way out.

Goals for this semi final: cash then final table then trophy

Prop bets: definately in for the longest lasting bet. $20 is a good amount.

Another pumped punter here.

I am still in need of some descent finishes in these big games:

3rd in the FTT at the Settlers hotel a while ago

12th in last GF at WAFC

Just made the cash at one of the State finals many moons ago.

Running deep and cashing is the first on the agenda for this w/e and see how we go from there.

Prop bets sounds cool also.

Seeing as I haven't played poker/a state final in years, making the 6.15pm dinner break is my goal. I'll be rusty.

If we make that, I'll see how we go ;D

You didnt make the recombine, I was on the table next to you when that happened, I remember you berating the guy. I got knocked out a few hands later with about 3mins on the clock before the recombine.

best Semi Finish: Was bubble bubble in the Challenge Semi at Port club last year, after having a great run on the Feature Table - flopping quad Queens against Kings (sorry Go Fish)

Goal for this one: Like Aaron, I'd be happy with the dinner break, since my live game has fallen down lately. Reading books galore for the next few days And to outlast at least one Murrin.

that there is a rather large pwning!

best semi finish - just fell short of the recombine at the last one, where 59, which flopped the straight < 72 runner runner full house
