On October 30th & 31st 2010, the West Adelaide Football Club in Richmond will host the Season 3 2010 888PL-SA Semi Final. Qualifiers from the Challenge & Foundation Home & Away Season will battle it out for $30,000 in Cash & Prizes!! This promises to be another awesome day of poker and will once again showcase some of the best poker players in the state.

Event #1: 888PL Team Challenge
After the success of the Teams Event in August we’ve decided to incorporate it into this seasons Semi Final weekend.
When: Saturday 30th October 2010
Where: West Adelaide FC
Rego: 11.00am
Start: 12.00pm
Est. Finish: 8.30pm
Buy In: $25 per player ($200 per team) 8 Man Teams
Prizes:
Winning Team - 50% of total prize pool
Runner Up Team - 30% of total prize pool
3rd Placed Team - 20% of total prize pool
THE FORMAT
Round #1
8 players per table “Shootout”
Start Stack: 3000
Blinds: 25/50, 50/100, 100/200, 200/400, 300/600, 500/1000, 1000/2000
Each table plays down to a winner.
Points are allocated for finishing positions in the shootout round.
1st – 8, 2nd – 7, 3rd – 6, 4th – 5, 5th – 4, 6th – 3, 7th – 2, 8th – 1
Points are calculated and results displayed for Round #1
Round #2
8 Players per table “Shootout”
Same format as above except redraw for seating will occur.
Points from Round #1 & Round #2 are tallied and the top 4 teams
(based on the most points) progress through to Round #3
(Please note, in the case of a tie for 4th, the count back rule will apply & the team with the best individual results will progress.)
Round #3
4 Team (32 player) “MTT” Multi Table Tournament.
All 8 members of the Top 4 teams after Round #1 & #2 progress to a MTT.
Players play down to a winner and points are allocated for finishing positions.
Points are awarded for finishing position. Eg: 1st = 32 pts, 32 = 1 pt.
Final Points are tallied and the winning team is crowned!
Event #:2 $2000 GTD 888PL $50 High Rollers
With a $2,000 Guaranteed CASH Prize Pool and a chance to knock out your favourite Tournament Captain, this should prove to be a great battle to see who will be crowned the High Roller Champion!
