looks great todd. how exactly does it work? is it a shootout for the first part of the tourney and then the winner of each table goes into a heads up bracket? or is there separate heads up and shootout tourneys?

i havent been playing in venue for the past few weeks, but i think im going to have to attend this

heads up sounds great.
Does anyone know how to make money playing uno vs 6 year olds, its about the only card game i get to play these days.

Separate tournies. You can start either one first, they will run simultaneously.

Because it is virtually a round-robin format, you can play whenever.

Eg - you start playing heads-up....you win-or lose...and you progress to the next round or you are out. Either way you can be placed into the next shootout table available when you finish your match-up.

OR - you play shootout first.....you get eliminated-or progress through....and then you are entered into the heads-up format.

nice idea todd. will take a bit to organise no doubt but from what i have seen from tourneys up there you run a tight ship so it should be fun.

wish i could make it up there but i dont think i can. tell my bro to get his arse into gear and come out and play though

Waikerie Club has been pro-active in its support of 888pl poker, It will now hold a special event on the 4th Sunday of every month with a minimum of $500 for each event.

Watch out for something similar from another Riverland club maybe the 2nd sunday if it all comes together.
