the rebuy frenzy was super dooper fun. like the best fun i have had playing a tourney in ages.

the only thing i would change is maybe being able to extend the play slightly on the final table. maybe going to 15 min levels on the FT would be a good idea.

other than that, it was really fun, especially when working out how many chips to buy at the addon period. My table was really fun with wabbit and bigblktriton on there, and we all had deep pockets, i think most people bought $50-80 worth, which meant there were LOTS of chips on the table, and that was fun.

yeah absolutely loved it. and it has nothing to do with the fact that i finished second :D

given that it created approximately a 1800 prize pool (i think) for 40 odd players as well, nearly $50 each, i think that it was a great way to boost the prize pool too, and was a fun departure from a $50 freezeout in my opinion.

could be an option for satellites too imo.

the only things that i didn't like much were the fact that it was pretty turbo on the final table, but it wasn't too bad, certainly nothing that would every stop me playing the game.

another thing that annoyed me and a lot of other people was people tanking too much.

there was a guy who tanked for a minute against me, after putting half his stack in, DURING THE REBUY PERIOD.

so maybe stressing to people that this is a turbo and decisions should also be turbo would be great.

well done benny the cunt always FUN playing games like that, especially when you and Mike are around. For me it was interesting to watch the strategies people use during the rebuy period.

I enjoyed the Saturdays games aswell as Sundays but im just a poker rat. My only thoughts would be that i would love to see the Saturday better supported by players, numbers always equals more fun. This being said I could understand considering i outlayed $405 for the weekend, luckily winning a $50 sng and chopping the PLO $5 single rebuy, after 8 flips and still no winner we needed to start the sng. So i came through ok. Good weekend just a teaser for the GF

LOL at benny the cunt complaining about the FT being too turbo.

It was advertised the whole time as a super turbo rebuy FRENZY.

You don't just switch the structure around when everyone decides to buy 100BB each at addons and play deep.

The game went 80 mins past the scheduled finish. I fail to see the issue with keeping the blinds the same length the whole way through.

It's like you want a rebuy frenzy into a deepstack but for the game to finish within 4 hrs so everyone can play the next event. Not realistic mate.

the only reason it went longer was becasue andre kept doubling up the person at risk!

i just think the final table should have been capped so that there was about 15BB on the entire table, not for each person, but for the table. i know its not realistic to have a deepstacked final table, but i think everyone having 4bb, when we havent even made the cash yet, doesn't make for good poker either.

in the end, the decision was made by andre and tim to cap the blinds at 40/80k/5k, which meant there was about 20bb on the entire table, which i think was a good idea.
