Re: Let's see your stats
Finally placed tonight. Second at the Modbury.
Besides that I've finished second at the Woolshed, and 10th at Roulettes (with 138 people). Just missed the final table.

Re: Let's see your stats
You wont see my stats on the website as I am a staff member from the Riverland, but the TD's here can back me up.
PLAYED 10 tournaments
9 Final Tables
3 wins
Positions: 5,4,1,3,DNP,4,5,1,1,5
The day I didn't place was incredible. I spent 30mins before the tournament explaining the finer points of the game to a couple from another town.
First hand I get AA, I make the stupidest raise to $100, everyone folds except the big blind, which happens to be the wife in this story. She calls my weak raise and the flop is 8,8,3.
Yes she has an 8 and takes my all in call after the turn and river dont improve our hands. She checked it!!
I get to the bad beat table (first and only time so far) and her husband takes me out with a J-8 unsuited against my KK.
I get drawn back in at the second break and sit on the table with the wife again. I get 5-5 and go all-in. Everyone folds except her and she has K-Q. First card hits her Kings and its all over.
So I played 3 hands and had 3 all-ins and three losses. Once to the husband and twice to the wife who I tried to "teach" beforehand.
I have been playing Hold em for about 5 years now and my background in Chess, maths, psychology, body language and love of gambling has made me quite good at it.
I'm still learning and running tournaments down here has taught me at lot more about how people bet than all the books I've read and games I've played.
I'm not being a suck here, but Garth is the best I've seen or played against so far, and I love our staff tournaments, there are sooo many different personalities and good Poker players.
Anyway, that's my stats, and I'm pretty happy with them so far.
Cheers
