I would just like to Apologise to Roger G

I can't think of one occasion when i have actually delt Roger a winning hand on any final table he has made at one of my events. I am getting worried he won't come back!

I would also like to praise they way roger plays... always a gentlemen. He takes every bad beat with a smile and handskake.

Please don't give up because of my shifty dealing!

Mr CBD

Thanks Nathan, very kind of you to offer a public apology. However, as much as I would love to be able to take the easy out your offering, I can't accept it as you have nothing to apologise for. The cards and my decisions determined my fate, not the dealer. That probably means I can't goad Dakota & Tim anymore now, DAMN!! :)

I am also sure, that I have dealt myself, and many other NPL players, many more bad beats than you, Dakota & Tim combined, have dealt to me in 3 and bit seasons of playing, and enjoying, the games you host for us.

Also, thanks to David & Goose for your very generous comments - but Nathan wasn't suggesting I'm a good player, he's seen a few, of the many bad reads and decisions I have made over the last 9 months.

David, you witnessed at least one example of my poor play at a final table at Modbury in season 1, last year. And your brother, Scott, can fill you in with the details about my 'quality' play at the tables at Pooraka last Friday. The stories are endless and all true.

Goose, either you need to play against more people or I'm more successful at bluffing than I realised. :)

I can read between the lines - Nathan is praising me for being a good LOSER!!. ;)

Nah seriously, I try to conduct myself in a way that would be akin to someone who I would consider to be a good role-model. In regards to behaviour, in and around a poker table, I look to none other than Barry Greenstein. A true gentleman of the game. Now, if I could have a mere 25% of his game, I'd be happy.

Very well said. That is why I enjoy seeing you at my events. Many players could learn form you on and above the felt.

Here, here Roger!
I haven't seen too many bad decisions from you my friend.
I do count you as one of the finer gentleman players I have had the privilege of sitting at a table with.
Barry is an awesome role model, but I am too much of a talker and animated player to ever achieve that level of discipline.

Completey agree with all of the above, but I'd like to remind everyone of one single overriding factor in the equation.....

Roger is a liverpool fan, therefore a champion.

Love your work Sergs!

Na not an issue of bluffing Roger

I remember listening to you and matty one night and you were calculating odds, outs, percentages etc faster than i could look at my cards and work out if they are suited or not.
Hence the comment one of the best poker minds

Rog is the one NPL player I could totally picture on the TV tommorow in some big cash game, and he wouldn't look out of place at all. I can definitely see where you're coming from about how to act at the table.
