The TDs Eyes and Ears

This is a pritty general request to all players.......
Rather than let an incident slide, to then discuss your dismay of the forum. Why not inform the TD on the spot at the event. It would save a lot of people a lot time.
Garth receives dozens of emails in regards to all sorts of things NPL related, many to do with rules and rulings made at an event. In most cases he then contacts the operator of the particular region in which the event/incident or occured. Next the operator rings the staff member who ran the event, only to ring Garth back and Garth to then contact said player.
In MOST of these situations all you need to do is just ask for the tournament directors assitance.
An Example... The sunday event at roulettes last week. A player was eliminated woith out a fully stamped passport. Said player went to bar, stamped up, returned to his seat and then called for his 1000 chips. Dakota and I (Nathan Butler) ran the event of 120 people. One us then went over cashed in his card and went on our way continuing to monitor the tournament.
9 other players said nothing as we allowed this player to buy back after elimination. An email was then sent Garth informing him of the situation and so on and so forth the spiral of incident reporting went on.
This is completly unnessary. If either Dakota and I had been aware fo the players actions he would not have been able to buy back in. Considering the 9 other players at the table said nothing (even discreatly) I have no concerns about the mannar in which the situation was handled.
SO PLEASE, any issues.... just ask the freindly staff there and then. They will sort out any issues.
I would like any NPL member to feel free to Private Message me on this forum or even Email me at nathan.butler@npl.com.au
Issues of this nature need not start at the top of the food chain.
Regards
Nathan Butler
