The current system gives extra points to the final 15 and everyone else gets 10 points.

Has it been kicked around lately perhaps points could be allocated on the freeze out method

you get 1 point for each player you beat, a bonus points for those who make the final table.

ie there are 60 runners,

The winner gets 59 points

2nd 58 points

59th 1 point

60th Zero

Final table bonus points
1st 45
2nd 40
3rd 35
4th 30
5th 25
6th 20
7th 15
8th 10
9th 5

that give the winner 45 final table points & 59 freeze out points for a total of 104 for the night.

I doubt in an 100 player tourney that the TD wants to count every player left when there is an elimination.

Then there will be complaining about who got busted out when etc...

yeh! I think 15 is even too many....

i just want one name, the winner.... save me alot of time!
hehehe

Good thoughts but this proposal would be very difficult to ensure accuracy, people not coming up to us straight away and also it would distract us from other important things while running an event.

could we please ensure then that when we are in the points that the td and ta remain in the room and not be out the front smoking or chatting so that when a player gets knocked out they can then be directed to where they need to put there names down
