Mike finished in fifth spot.

Trishan is still in HR with 10 left I think.

Apparently I shipped another hot dog and look forward to giving penatly orbits to Trishan at the GF every time he moves his chips into the pot.

That was a nice hand... after you turned your cards it was clear why it took you so long to call!!!! Good luck in the rest of the high roller tournament.

Re: semi finals. Good venue, well organised and it ran smoothly, kudos to Garth and the team! New tables are great, man those cards fly quick across them!

I got down to the final 3 tables in the semi-final but with the antes increasing and being dealt crap hand after crap hand, I decided to make a move with Q10 suited and was taken out by a pair of J's. Was happy to get as far as I did though, it was a tough days play. Monster headache now!

Well done to all those who made final table! :D

Nice to meet Trishan and Bret today. Also good to see Garth and co again. You guys put on a great day. Good structure with plenty of play(10 hrs worth.....). Ohhhh how I wanted to get a top 3 spot. Just to take Aaron on in Adelaide.....

Felt I was reading the game well but just couldn't find my spot after hitting FT with avg stack and watching the short stacks bust.

Ohhh well, back again tomorrow! Absolute last chance at Adelaide!

Good luck in the HR Trishan..

Any thoughts of just coming over anyway, Mike?

Many thoughts.......

I talked to Garth today hoping that one of "the many prizes and exciting experiences" I might receive for making the Dream Team would be travel expenses to Adelaide for the Presentations with Warnie, but no luck. This would have given me a shot at the last chance satellites and then I could buy in if I didn't qualify....

I would really love to play in Adelaide but its not really +EV in my book to spend $1000 on a $500 self deal tourney..... If anyone wants to sell a $1000 package cheap, I'd crunch the numbers!
