Nice stealth edit.

Again, I have no idea what you are talking about.

You aren't voicing an opinion. Your opinion is that the games should stay as freerolls. That's your opinion. And not a single person on here has disagreed with you.

It's all the other crap you keep bringing up that you are taking too far.

All while seemingly ignoring what people are actually saying to you. You seem to think we are all insulting your opinion some how.

I don't even....

How do you bring this up? Where is there a reference point for this in the ENTIRE thread?

You are & always seem to have a go @ most of my threads . * What .You aren't* voicing an opinion. Your opinion* is that the games should stay as freerolls. That's your opinion. And not a single person on here has disagreed with you.

Freerolls games are the main objective of 888pl." .
Who was this quote written by Caleb ?

Once again this is about games @ my venues what has it got to do with YOU ?

Nothing .

I have promoted more games @ my venues than Any of the T/D's T/C's that work @ my venues ever have .Online.

& I will have my say about what happens in Victoria's Western suburbs . ( Not S.A's south or south eastern suburbs .)

If these games fail . WE will not be going back to playing Tuesday or Thursday nights ."& thats about loyalty , works both ways "
We both have been " N.P.L / 888pl players for A VERY LONG TIME , Giz longer than Me ".
When this happens @ your venues "which it will" I will feel sorry for the players ." & I will say bad luck ( & I know S,A. is losing quite a few venues ). But that belongs in 888pl in South Australia .
So Thats all I would say . I would be supporting Fellow 888pl members ,not Criticizing every thing that they say or believe .

If that's not a "Butt out and mind your own business" then I don't know what is. And I will not be spoken to like that when I asked a quite simple and I thought quite necessary question.

Regardless of any of this, my advice is still:

If you want to insinuate anything, or bring anything up that the rest of us have no idea what you are talking about, it would be best to address it directly to the person you are talking to - IN PRIVATE.

Airing this stuff on a public forum is childish and just plain wrong. Talk to Adam directly.

I am sorry benny the cunt but I am with Harps on this one. At my venue that did cash it is was $10 plus $24 to chip up. With both my husband, my son and me playing take that up to over $100. On the nights we played we would usually take the youngest 2 kids so would be spending up to $150. The venue we were playing at were charging odd amounts for meals such as $17.50 and would only give you the chips for $15 even if you offered to pay the extra .50c and drinks were separate and not added to the meal amount so the $3.50 for the drink (coke) meant even more. It wasn't so bad when the chip up cards were valid for two weeks as we could use the extra we spent with the kids the following week but now that they have to be used in the same night no longer an option.

Sorry if I misinterpret that Gayle, but you're saying the nightly spend went from (possibly) $120 to $150?

Harps I have said earlier that I agree with your view on the cash games but that is because, similar to you, they do not fit in with MY budget. That is my opinion and to me it is valid just as it is for you. When they were introduced to Bendigo I just did not play them for this reason. But having said this many others did and when I did attend the occasional 1 found a lot of old and new players returning for the chance to win cash on the night. These people were not interested in State leader board or Dream team but just the chance on cashing on the night. These games did not promote "irresponsible gambling" as each player was aware of how much they would be spending prior to attending and were more than happy to do this. The games did not last but I still believe that this was more down to the venue rather than the game itself.

As for the buy in game being sprung on you mid season, I can really understand why you are upset with this. i think changes like this should be made at the beginning of the season but again that is MY opinion. Others have voiced other opinions which while they differ from mine are just as important. You should respect there opinion as being just as valid as yours because it is. Degrading the thread by abusing these players does nothing to get you support for your cause.

I would recommend that you take a couple of days to calm down and then reread the thread. Obviously you are very emotional about the issue but if you take this time you will see that no one was having a go at you just offering their opinion or asking for further information so they could understand what this issue was. If you only want people who agree with you to post I would say that posting on forum is a bad idea unless you create your own and only invite people who agree with everything you say in life ( and that would be very boring dont you think :D )

Yes it did. When both my husband and I play we like to take the kids so we can make a night of it. It was only an extra $20 ( I will explain this) but really was outside what we had budgeted for. This is only one day a fortnight and we do play other nights usually not as a couple and without the kids. Of that $150 my son who is 21 would pay for himself so $34 of that needs to be deducted for him. At the time cards could be used over 2 weeks so 1 week the kids would come and the other we would have the majority of the chip up from the previous week which worked well for me. Now they are used on the night not an option. This season we are playing separately mainly and using the money we would spend in one night over several nights. Will see how that goes.

On the flip-side, if you pay money to buy in, you win more.
