Vic Semis 2009 season 2

Postby Conspiracy Theorist » Sat Dec 19, 2009 12:47 am

So....

Challenge or foundation.

Who made what.

I finished second on my Away Foundation game leaderboard so I made the Foundation Semi-Final

Im currently waiting for my challenge venue to update results to see if I made the Challenge Semi-Final. I think im in with a good chance.

On a side note: Anyone know when and where its being held. (sorry if i missed it elsewhere).

I'm told it's being held at the Dorset Gardens Hotel.

I haven't payed this season and have not made either but I even if I did - not sure I would go all the way to Croydon from our end Marc... quite a trek.

Don't complain till you've done the trip from Geelong! I've heard them say its hard to find venues big enough for the Finals weekend.

Surely there must be somewhere more central than Croydon/Berwick/Chelsea that could hold one of these weekends.....

I think it is fair it gets shared around. I made the big trek to Hoppers Crossing from where I am early in the year and the last couple have been at Chelsea which is closer but still a drive............now the year is finished off for me with the venue a 7 minutes from my house :)

As long as the venues continue to be shared around I am happy to make the trek when needed.........its why I play all season, to make the state final.

How about sharing a thought for our regional guys!?

Mildura, Shepparton, Wangaratta??

They all make the trek and I am pretty would scoff at the idea of an hour long drive as being too far?

Its official. I have made both the challenge and foundation semis. So I'll be making the trek twice in 2 days.

But seriously Trishan, you would pass on the opportunity to take home uber cash just cos the venue is over an hour away???
