I'm on my way over to Vic

Well, it had to happen sooner or later, but I must leave SA NPL for a few weeks and go to Vic to see my new little nephew and nephewette..
So... I need to know which venues are good to play at near Mooroolbark.
I have looked on the NPL website, but The Kilsyth Club doesn't show the dates and days it plays. Is it still running there?
Please take into consideration that whilst I am a Victorian in all ways, I have become used to South Australian lifestyle and everything being within a 15 min drive and hence have become very slack with distance driving.. LOL
Also 4 more questions have to be asked.
- With cash buy in games, are the prizes vouches and not cash?
- Who are the TD's?
- Do I need to re register or do I just need my NPLSA number?
And finally
Do I get special treatment because I am a much beloved visitor from interstate?? Hahahahahaha
(Ok ok... the much beloved part was a lie, but I had to do it... lol)

You'll need to sign up for a Victorian membership.

I was kind of hoping to have heard from the Vic TD's by now.
Do they still come into the forums?

Howdy!
Yeah some TD's come on, most don’t. I am trying to fix that up at the moment.
Club Kilsyth are starting as of 31/5, they will be a cash buy in game.
Dorset Gardens run Monday and Wednesday Nights starting at 7pm, we will be starting a cash buy in event there on Monday nights soon.
Croydon Hotel runs Monday day games and Tues night games.
Club Ringwood is running Thursday free-rolls, and as of Sunday the 31/5 their free roll will change to a CBI. (There is even a bus that will go from the Kilsyth CBI to the Ringwood CBI on the Sundays!
Due to current legislation the Cash buy in events over here are done differently to SA, so the prizes are in Wish gift cards and venue vouchers. The $15 buy in also includes a $5 charitable donation to the Club's not for profit charity.
Most of these places should be within 15-20 min of Mooroolbark in peak hour.
Are you going to catch the end of this season over here, or start of next?
Did I miss anything out? Edit: YES!
The TD's down that way are great, but varied, James from the Forum does Tuesday night at Croydon, the rest are not on the forum.
Special treatment for SA'ians no.. I would make some joke here, but I know you are originally from VIC, so you get a slide here.
Enjoy
Michael
