I'm all new to 888 poker and play in QLD. Was just wondering how i get my home game name registered. I have tried everything and still no luck, Any help would be great........

Is it an old pacific poker client? Or have you recently signed up for 888poker, through the available links by 888pl?

If it is an old account Before mid 2009 rego. You actually have to go through and delete the registry links to pacific, and reinstall the poker client using the 888pl links, then i believe if you can't play doing it that way. Create a new account. 888 will ask you which one you want to keep and change over to the new one, however you lose your accumulated points and need to transfer your money out.

Garth will probably get on and give a better answer.

If it is a new account created through 888pl, then it is a matter of time for your rego and home games to be linked by the back end systems.

And welcome to the forums too. I reckon you might be the first queensland person on here. lovely stuff.

Thanks all. Its a new account just signed up last week as us Queenslanders just started 888 poker league this week gone. I'm not the biggest fan of 888 poker online so far. So don't know how many games I will play, this whole registration thing has got me quite frustrated and the lack of info on how to register and link together. I'm more of a Poker Stars player for online games. But if i do get this working in together sometime soon then may give it a good go.. Once again thanks for the welcome and the info.

the play on 888 is so bad its not funny.

guarantee you will double your win rate on the site at least

The linkage is done from the back end. It matches up your online account details with your details given on the 888pl registration form.

So just be patient, when the games are uploaded onto the computer, someone has to link up the accounts that haven't been auto linked. Usually uses 5 points to link it up.

yer, feeling ya mate. I was stressing over the inability to sign up for the 888pl games online. But once you reinstall the software and create a new account its looking good. Im also a stars guy but I have been running good on 888 so if it aint broke.....
