Then you would fit in perfectly Krunchie.

On the road again (is there song title in that) we arrive in Canberra mid afternoon, its obovious that the pollies and public servents have nicked off for the xmas break, the traffic is just like driving around a small country town.

With no 888 venues it was look at the dark side for a game to night,
Poker starts from 1pm till 1am plenty of poker 3 tournaments, heaps of shootouts good food and beer .Playing in our own private room and smoking area
$20 DEEP STACK 15000 CHIP FRI SPECIAL TOP PUB
Where: Queanbeyan Top Pub.
from the providers web site.

It was only an outside chance of visiting the venue as we were going out to dinner with our youngest son. We went to a nice little Bistro Bar in Kingston, The snitty's are monsters and are worth the price you pay.

After dinner we went to the canberra casino, there was 1 poker table in action but it was full, and not a poker machine to be seen for the wife to play, so it was off to the Queanbeyan Leauges club, which provided a modest profit for the day

I was reduced to a spectator and pack mule whilst the wife was shopping in the DFO complex in fyshwick in canberrra, with that finished it was on the road again heading for Sydney.

After checking into the motel at Campbelltown I could have taken the easy option and played poker with another provider at the RSL, but I decided to make the 40k plus trip to the closest 888 venue at Penrith.

Penrith Panthers Leagues Club for those who have never visited the area is a very impressive club with excellent parking and facilities, a visit to the pokies before poker was a new experiance the contstant tinkle oif coins into the coin tray is missing, all machines accept notes and $1 coins but winnings are collected via a printed receipt, which can be redeemed at the cashier or eteller machines around the gaming room, some pokie machines accept the receipts.

I left my wife at the pokies and went to play poker its a $13 buying gamewith $13 addons, and a 10 k start stack what I do like is at this venue the 25/50 blind level is deleted and the green chips designated as $50, I eventually was knocked out during the 2nd session when I jammed all in for my last 6.3k with KQ suited and ran into pocket Kings whilst I paired the queen on the flop I watched the turn and river send me to the rail.

Penrith Panthers is a venue worth visiting when visiting Sydney

Yeah but do you think Gunny would still be interested in that kind of stuff. :-).
Think they would have some tough look but don't touch policies in that area.
