WHERE TO POST

Postby David » Wed Jan 28, 2009 3:04 pm

Hi all

Forums throughout the world are set out in such a way to cater for the large amount of topics they receive. Areas are designated for discussion and a logical break down is required so that other people, besides the person who posted can;

a) find information they need in a logical place, and
b) not be swamped with things they don't need, in a place they shouldn't be in

Moderators everywhere move topics daily so to keep order around the place. Now, 888PLForum.com.au might not be set out in the best way possible but I have tried to make sections that reflect what people might want to talk about.

In essence:

If you want to discuss the 888PL, 888PL Venues, Promotions, things that happen or anything else, please use the appropriate sections for your state (ie SA, VIC and TAS).

If you want to ask the NPL a question, use the section ambiguously called "Ask the 888PL". If you want to know about why something happened, if you qualified, how to get something done or ANY other question directly relating to the 888PL, put it there. 888PL contractors represent the 888PL and therefore fall under the 888PL banner.

Anything poker related, which is not directly to do with the 888PL, should be in the General Poker chat section (and it's sub forum Tips & Strategies) or the Hand Discussion Forum.

The rest of the sections should really be self-explanatory.

The moderators here work hard to keep things in order, a lot of the time performing functions that aren't even seen by the regular forum user. They receive NOTHING for this. Following the rules (let alone reading them) is a must to make your job easier, and therefore your experience here, better.

If you have any questions or comments, please ASK ME. Email myself or Scott, or leave a private message. Even post in the Feedback section. I can't make things better by wading through pages and pages of thinly-veiled insults and poor attempts at humour to find something valuable to use.

If things need rejigging, please tell me. I have tried to make things clear and logical, but if they need to be clearer, I will amend what is required.

Thanks, and keep up the posts.

David

My personal opinion is this is one of the best organised forums on the planet.

Well done Dave and mod crew!
