my current speed in the country area north of Adelaide [ I'm less 2km from my Telestra tower/exchange = 8529kbps

just hit 10052kbps is this good/average

crappy phone line gives me crap attenuation but in Karratha best my modem has synced at is approx 23000kbps. Got it running okayish at around 16000kbps.

Elsternwick in Melbourne was the same with a solid signal.

Also Bruce use www.speedtest.net. uses au servers rather than uk ones. gives a better indication

I can't help sorry as I have no idea how to find out.
