I've updated the first post so people don't have to go searching through these anymore.

They're even in alphabetical order, as promised.
Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

Pete. Do you think that your first post could go into a permanent section on the main page somewhere like say "POker in General"?

It was just a thought for new players or some not so new like myself  who aren't savvy with all the abbreviations.

At least that way you or others could refer them to it's location for them to look at and see what some of the posts are refering too without looking like a dill!!

You could still leave this one open for the additional sensible or stupid entries and when a sensible one appears just add it to the list on the main page.

It IS sticky.

Thanks for the suggestion Bob, but this section will always appear at the top of the index listing of General Poker Chat. This is what benny the cunt meant by 'sticky' - it's stuck up the top of the index so people will always easily be able to find it.

As a suggestion, try using the main index and then navigating to individual sections if you are looking for something in particular, or use the search function, and not relying on 'show new posts' as I suspect you might be.

Just in case this helps, I *always* use the main index as my starting point. From there you can see all the sections and at a glance you will easily see which sections have new posts, which isn't really much different from selecting 'show new posts' except you can see all the other sections too and it's a bit easier to go straight to any section you like and see all the existing topics at once.
Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

Thanks for the information and suggestions Pete. I'm glad you pointed out what "sticky" meant as I thought he was suggesting what I could do with it LOL.

Sorry benny the cunt "Oh what little faith I have in my fellow man"!!!

I'll make the effort to use the main index from now on and in time it will become a simple action for me.
