So winning a freeroll gets you into the monthly grand final qualifier? so its basically $50 for winning a freeroll. not bad if you ask me. (although i may be reading that wrong)

Sorry, should say an 888PL Monthly Grand Final Sat.

Only open to freeroll players, approx 90 winner per month and 1 GF package to be won per month.

I still like it though. gives the freerollers something to play for, whilst still making the big rewards for the CBI players. happy balance imo.

I note the MQF's attract points.... are points going to be provided with the away rebuy tourneys for GF tickets??

Apart from that i'm pretty happy with the structure, could be a little earlier for everning games (6pm onwards)....

Not sure if it has been said before but the first night time "freeroll" is not untill 10pm. Is this a bit late considering not everyone can get to a venue everynight and not everyone can afford to buy into games 3 to 4 times per night If you were to play all 7 games before midnight you would be up for $59.90.

I am aware not everyone plays all games but if you are knocked out early in one game 9 out of 10 times you are in the next game.

While I agree that you will only get a better class of player playing in the buy ins it then becomes an "elitist" game where only the rich will play. Thus not allowing us minnows the chance of taking on the big boys and beating them.

has anyone thought about addressing the points variance caused by the high number of online players in a game by depreciating the points scale for online games only?

For instance, normally 1st = 1.5 multiplier. For online games with say between 101-120 this is depreciated 1st = 1.4, for 121-130 1st = 1.3 etc.

this is a loose example to demonstrate my point. In this way the points that are awarded for playing 150+ games does not create an insurmountable advantage.

It's not really an advantage though if everyone has the chance - and - it doesn't change the fact that away scores are separate.

So, Roy how lucky were you that I chose to go to my venue last nite when I was chip leader with $170k and you were running second with around $68k????

Might have been a different result if I had continued to play properly instead of bleeding $30k off to the smaller stacks, LOL.

I guess 3rd was okay for me but I realised as I arrived at the White Horse with 1 minute to go for the cut off that I should have stayed and played for the win. :(

As far as the people like yourself shoving on any 2 cards prior to the cut off I'm really in favour of it as in most cases it helps me improve my stack without shelling out too much of my own cash.

We definately need the likes of yourself and Tiger to build the kitty, I just feel it takes away the overall enjoyment of the game for the first hour.

For what it's worth, I just got knocked out of tonites AK after the break. Blinds were 100/200 I was dealer and had pocket 9's with around $8k which was above the average stack. BB was allin pos 3 called Big stack pistola85 had around $13.5k and was playing any 2 cards also called along with myself to see the flop.

Flop came 7s, 10d, 8h, pos 3 checked pistoa raised to $1,195 I called hoping he was doing his usual bluff pos 3 folded.

Turn was a Qs he bets $3583 I definately thought he was stealing (silly me) I could have easily folded to any other player and still have around $6.5k to rebuild but no and I called again!!!

Qh on the river meant bugger all to me as I had made up my mind he had bugger all, such a poor decision by me again.

He puts me alin and I obviously called still thinking he's running on air like 97% of his previous hands.

BB had A5 off and pistola turns 10 4 of clubs to take down a $20k pot.

Unfortunately, I thought my cards were good and had some good outs and chose to play the player.

For those who know me know my favorite saying is "I'd prefer to make a bad fold, rather than a bad call" and failed dismally.

That's poker and now for the Murrin LOL
