The amount of points available for online games is irrelevant, as it's the same for everyone. The fact that the biggest scores you could attain online might be less doesn't change anything.

I like the look of the new structure but is there any way that something can done to make it more even for those us who have to play most of their games on the weekend due to work and family commitements, It seems the only way to get enough points is to play at least 90% of the games, i can only play about 30% of games during the week so i'm already 60% worse off, so whats the point. I'm not asking for charity but i'm sure there are others out there who are in the same boat as me.

welcome to the forum hagar

unfortunately its just a fact of life that people who play lesser games will have a harder time qualifying for the dream team. i finished 10th in the dream team in the first season, but it absolutely killed me, no way i could do that regularly with a job etc.

i am in the same boat as you, and i dont expect to be in the running for dream team any time soon

what you can do is focus on other goals, such as playing in the semi finals and grand final. that is what i am trying to do.

good point. these were great for the non hardcore player to set aside 1 night of the weekend and play some pretty decent games.

Thanks for the welcome,
I just hope it doesn't become biased towards the elite few that can afford to play all the time. By the same token we have the chance to establish a good competition for Aussie players to call their own but it seems it could become elitist very quickly.

Please feel free to provide what you believe would be the ideal home game fixture.

I'm fairly new the poker world (about a year) so forgive me if i'm speaking out of turn, i would not know where to begin with how to fixture a season. Maybe some kind of division system could work, giving the better players a better quality game with less donks, and newer players something something to strive for. Just an idea probably almost impossible to make it work.

LOL Welcome to the forum mate. And how will you tell who is a donk and who is a better player?

Better players will generally achieve more results than donks, like i said just throwing up ideas, get people thinking, unlike most other poker we are getting a chance to input into the game so maybe we should try new things.
