i think having a range of buyins are pretty much like having divisions anyway.

in the long term, only the better players (or the richest) will be able to play the higher buy in games consistently.

i like your out-side-the-boxness, but i dont think you will see it happen.

i agree that some of the bigger events should be brought forward slightly. a midnight finish is bearable for most, but if its much later you will lose some players imo.

otherwise it all looks good garth as always.

i LOVE your idea with the freerolls - will keep all players happy i think, and prevents people qualifying for semi's for squat (which some would).

The range of buy-ins is excellent, suits all players. Similar to benny the cunt, im really excited to be playing online with 888pl again - the super saturday tourneys rekindled my interest, this has topped it off.
Riskers gamble, experts calculate.

there are still places for the less experienced players to learn

the 50c rebuy is very cheap

there are also 3 freerolls a day

better yet, go to the pub and play.

The thing is poker players notoriously have big egos and you'll get a handful of people who will feel they belong in a higher division. I think the varying buy-ins achieves the same thing as Matt said.

varying the buyins is the only way you can do it.

if you are starting out/broke, then you play the freerols. if you have the cash then you can play the higher games

My 2 cents worth..

Why not have all games starting on the hour (even if it means two games starting at the same time) so that the breaks are in sync?

Maybe with the two foundation games we could have one at the start of PM shift instead of very late.I can't see too many runners playing for nothing @ midnight.

The daily main event could probably be a bit earlier especially having a 10k starting stack etc.

The multiplyer by $ works for me in some respects but I can see where Papabear is coming from regarding the venue losing out. Are the buy-in away games to be 10x aswell?

I would imagine so matey. $1 = 1X multiplier $20 = 20X multiplyer etc.

Also I like your idea of hourly starts to get synced breaks.
