Pick an 888 player to play (through a tournment win, forum members nominate & vote or random draw)

Offer 50% of the ticket for other to purchase a share in, say 1% - 5% each share and this money goes to FHG.

Only problem is the fist prize is a WSOP package, second is a Aussie Millions package. The prizepool is thus very top heavy and there is not much cash prizes.

It stake continue on to the bigger events should the 888pl player win.

All those with a share would be able to watch with interest, dicuss here etc.

For those that haven't bought shares in a player before, it creates a new 'poker experience' for them to. They cam see how fun it is to have a % of someone!

This could be put together with the very short timeframe there is until the event

Fair enough. But I think with a "Guess the Stack Size" game people will have a better chance at realising a profit. I would be happy making 4 guesses for $20 for a certain $1000 prize whereas if I staked someone how much I could win is largely up in the air.

staking would pretty much only get money from forum regulars on here i would think

the guessing game would be good in that you could get money from the venue.

i think this would work well for $10 games, because when people register you could just ask them if they wanted to spend an extra $5 and have a guess at the time of registration

That is true that the stack size would gain more $$'s, I guess it depends on if it can be co-ordinated over the next 2 days in the venues.

My idea is easy to co-ordinate in 2 days!

I'd be happy to help set the game up if Garth likes. I also think giving TDs an incentive is a good idea too. TDs who sell the most guesses wins two gold class tickets.

I think trishan idea is pretty simple and easy to make a profit, if all TD are given a photo, though unsure in two days how many games are played.

Trying to come up with my own idea and struggling.
The only thing I can come up with is.
get 52 people to pay a set amount between $25-$50 to pick a card from a deck of cards.

A card is then drawn from another deck of cards and whoever matches that card wins the prize.
I know it is pretty random, but best I could come up with.

you have to be in Melbourne to play on the 31st so have the draw before the event.

It'd be pretty easy to set up an online Paypal checkout for people who don't have an away game to make a guess.
