Murrin Rebuy Experiment - Predictions Please!

I am going to try something unusual tonight in the Murrin Rebuy.......

I, Glenn Allan, do solemly swear, to see every single flop prior to the add on period - no matter what 2 cards I hold, regardless of the action before me.

I will never raise pre, only call - and play the hands normally from the flop onwards.

So the question I pose is -

How many rebuys would I be expected to use?

What do you think my stack size will be after the add on?

I think 20 rebuys and about 15,000 - but I could be way off.

Predictions forumers?

I predict an early night. :D

I tried this one time in a normal game when I got frustrated and thought it worked well. Played any two cards and played somewhat normally postflop and it worked a treat.

In a rebuy format though it's hard to tell how it will work out. Interested to see how it goes.

Results - 7 rebuys (including Add-on) $4800 (including Add-on).

It was actually not what I expected. There was SO LITTLE pre-flop all ins i could hardly believe it. I initially thought 20 could be a conservative number - but without someone like 'pottsy' on my table I could not random gamble for stacks much at all.

I actually had to fold ALOT of flops because i was far from pot committed and just wiffed them completely with little chance of getting bluffs through.

See Below for hands of note (doubles and rebuys)

Early on

Me 77 vs AK (did not note name of player)
I jammed AI on 863 flop - he called, I doubled to about 4k

Soon after

Me A7 vs AA (mad4888) vs xx vs xx
AIPF - AA held REBUY!!!!

Next hand

Me 10 3 vs AA (mad4888)
AIPF - AA held - mad4888 fast becoming my biggest fan REBUY!!!!

a bit later

Me J2ss vs 99 (Redheadsrock)
AI on flop Q5Kss - no turn or river love - REBUY!!!!

soon after

Me 6 8 vs 10 10 (hallam69)
AI on flop 78x 10 9 - DOUBLE!!!! got called a fkn retard too! :)

Me 33 vs AK vs KT
AI on flop Q7KQ8 - REBUY!!!!

Me Q9 vs AK
AI on flop 6 10 J 7 Q - REBUY!!!!

Me J6dd vs A3
AI on flop 753dd A 10 - REBUY!!!!

Me QJ vs A4
AI on flop 5 K 3 7 10 - REBUY!!!!

As you can see I got it in a few times with decent draws and missed, but as you can also see all the action was post flop.

I think I will try it again and load up to a 4k rebuy - might shove every flop too?

I think shoving pre every hand would wreck the game a bit too much - but heck i might try that one time to.

I love you 50c rebuy tourney and I also love the 'call any' button - its very uplifting to click it!!!

Maybe on advantage it will ensure plenty of action NEXT game (if you come up against some of the same players) when u get good hands??
