This Sunday 3rd April will see the first 888PL state of origin teams event on the 888 poker client. Teams must have a minimum of 5 players and will be capped at 50 players.

Get your fellow players in your state to join up to win not only cash but bragging rights for your state.

SA team is looking strong already! 14 players registered thus far which is around twice as much as the next team.

Victoria won the first state of origin held at the 2nd 888PL Grand Final. This only consisted of two states going to battle but they still must be regarded as the reigning champs.

With 888PL operations extending through 5 states now this will surely be a great contest. Which state will be crowned as the new SOO Champs this weekend.

We are aware that many of you have had some issues with not being able to see the State Of Origin Teams tournament in the lobby. This is because your 888 Poker software has not auto updated, and will need to in order for you to register for the event.

All you need to do is remove your current version then re install the software using the link below,

and that will solve the issue immediately. If you are still having trouble please email info@888pl.com.au.

Don't forgot players that this event is capped at 50 per team so get in quick to your represent your State and see who will be crowned the new State of Origin Champions!

Love the idea guys, im registered. Can anyone tell me how the team score is calculated? Will the teams with less players be at a disadvantage?
