Recent issues with 888PL Home Games and associated promotion

As many of you are aware the recent online poker community was shocked to hear of the indictment of several of the major providers. In no way has this affected activities on 888Poker, and instead we see some steady growth and your funds and playing will continue to remain safe and entertaining.
However we have had some recent issues with the online portion of our business and I would like to address these now.
First off we have recently introduced some Pot Limit Omaha games to the Home Game fixture. One is a freeroll and the other has a $2.20 buy in; both of these events were advertised as a 5x Points multiplier event. This was obviously a miscommunication to 888Poker and should only have a 1x point multiplier attached. I know this has caused some confusion amongst players and I would like to apologise for this,
888Poker recently ran a deposit bonus where players would receive a hoody for a predetermined amount. Some players have yet to receive their voucher for a hoody, if you are one of these players please send your username, date and time of deposit and deposit amount to info@888pl.com.au
We have been trying to update the structures for the Tuesday and Thursday deepstack but unfortunately 888 have been unable to process these changes. At this time the proposed changes will be reduce the buy in to $11, start at 9pm AEST, remove the minimum player restriction and guarantee this event at $300.
Finally we have had to adjust the way players are paid via the Dream Team Finals. From now on (and for the past event) all players will receive the total dollar value for prizes directly into their 888Poker accounts. From there players are free to withdraw these funds and buy casino entries through 888PL or keep the funds as cash prizes. I apologise unreservedly for this last minute change and the inconvenience caused by this.
We hope to rectify the above issues over the coming weeks and apologise for any inconvenience caused or negative experiences.
Thank you for continuing to support the 888Poker League and all the best on the virtual felt.
Regards,
