Hi there
I have just given up a night of poker at my favourite venue in a different league (yes APL) to play in 2 888PL events online tonight.

The first was the Aussie Millions step 2, wouldn't allow me to register (was buying in direct at that level) and I had plenty of time. 3 runners, CANCELLED...... great !

The second was the tier 2 Main Event qualifier, eventually let me register with plenty of time to spare...great, game on. 16 runners ready to go (only 5 needed).........CANCELLED. What the heck !!!!

This is not good enough. At least my buyin was refunded.

Sounds to me that there are problems that will take a fair bit of fixing.

This is a double shame considering you guys went to the expense of sending out an sms to promote it! Let's hope these issues with 888 can get sorted asap.

***ATTENTION: All Online player affected by last night's cancellation***

Apologies for the cancellation of last night's events; we have spoken to 888Poker and this was a technical issue that affected several events. This has now been rectified.

888 apologises for this issue and will compensate all players who registered for either event with a free entry into the Main Event Phase 2 AND an Aussie Millions Phase 2 satellite entry.

We will send out an SMS to all players alerting them to the change of date and time.

Once again we apologise for this inconvenience and will work towards ensuring this does not occur again.

I think there is a greater problem than compensating only those registered as there are normally several players that register late. Not saying that they should also be compensated, but I was login and ready to play, for the 1st time in over a month.

Everyone who was going to late rego can have a deck of cards! ;)

Send an email to info@888pl.com.au with your username and we can confirm if you were online at that time. If we think it acceptable we may be able to push to have you entered into the phase 2 as well.

But why if youre online does everyone wait to register late? Had about six people on facebook say the same thing!

Two reasons Garth, Decidophobia & Kakorrhaphiophobia.
