Josh Ijsenbruk - Table 26 Seat 9
Decent table draw, Nik Lackovic and Michael Spilkin the name players on this table. Nik is the chip leader and Josh sits in about the middle of the pack for his table. One short stacks with 10BB's.

Mike Raines - Table 28 Seat 6
No real threats to identify on this table but Mike is one of the shortstacks for this table. 2 opponents with 10BB or less then the rest have 80K+ stacks.

Hamish Modra - Table 29 Seat 6
Tough table; Day 1 chip leader John Overbeek and Gary Benson on this table. Good news is that there is 4 players who will be looking to double early with less than 15BB stacks.

Alan "Prickles Dacre - Table 48 Seat 4
Jamie Pickering as the big stack to his immediate right; this is good. Short stack on the table but still accounts for 50% of the next biggest chip leaders stack, needs to double early and apply pressure from the start.

We will start the day 53 spots short of the money. 46 players have less than 15BB's.

All of our boys will need to find a double up in the first two to three blind levels to contend for the big dollars.

Hamish Modra is out.

He shoved with his short stack holding TT and ran into the BB's AQ.

An ace on the flop sealed the deal and Hamish is out of the tournament.

Josh is on a heater

In four consecutive hands Josh has had AK and picked up some pre flop and post flop pots bringing his chip stack to just over 100,000.

Mike and Prickle holding steady

Both players are in the danger area with 30 - 40,000.

We have 108 players remaining as a lot of the shortstacks went with the "gamble it early" mentality.

Bionic is Busto

Action folds to the villain on the button who makes a standard sized raise, Mike looks down at 77 and re ships his 45K stack.

The button snap calls with A5 for over half his stack.

The Ace get there and Mike is out of the tournament.

Not much more I can do to add flourish to this story, sometimes its better to be lucky than skillful

What a prickle!

Action folds to the Dealer button who moves all in.
Allan looks down at his cards and quickly shoves his remaining 4BB's into the pot.

The BB folds

Dealer button shows TT and Allan has 88.

The door card is an 8 and a 5 and a 9 follow.
The turn card is the Qc giving TT a gut shot and a flush draw. The river falls a meaningless (but scary) 7h.

Prickle doubles up to 38,000 which is still only 9BB's with an avg stack of 110,000 and we are still 12 spots from the money.

And with that we have just burst through the bubble!

Four eliminations in very quick succession sees Prickle and Josh Isjenbruk earn at least $2020 for their troubles today.

Pricked!

Prickle is in the BB when a middle position play raises to 16K. Prickle looks at his cards and then his stack and sighs and says all in.

The MP player quickly calls and table KK, Allan stands up and moves away from the table and then comes back and rolls over AA (very close to a slow roll, and I am sure if he wasnt a short stack there might have been words)

The board rolls out a very sedate T, 8, 8 rainbow.

But it wasnt to be for prickle with the turn card landing the Ks.

The river was a blank J and Prickle is tumbled out after getting it in very good!

Josh Isjenbruk is our last remaining qualifier, 4 mins to the break.
