888pl Grand Final Day 2 - $25 Bounty Event

Well the bounty event started with a bang, we had 98 runners with 26 bounties in the field. With a lot of bounties up for the grabs it was always going to be a war of attrition to get chips and to make the loose call to hopefully get $50 for the bounty.

As the tournament dwindled to the final table. The biggest Head Hunter for the day was Crystal Rose with a massive 4 Bounties, she finished the tournament in 14th spot, but still had a good payday.

The final table came down to the following players
Caleb Rybalke (Staff and Bounty) on 71k
Tim Bredl 42.5k
Brendon O'Donnell (Staff and Bounty) on 42k
Pete Atkinson Crawford on 35k
Grant Pepper (Staff and Bounty) on 32.5k
Lynette Mathews on 24k
Andy Zarro on 16.5k
Ben Axel on 16.5k
and lastly Nadi Loulas on 10k.

Ben Axel was the first to leave the table, followed by Pete Atkinson Crawford, and Brendan O'Donnell who also took out one Bounty and wanted it noted that it was Simon Hunter (VIC Business Development Manager).

Lynette Matthews finished on the cash bubble with the top 5 being paid out.

Nadi Loulas finished in 5th picking up $115 and hadn't scalped any bounties along the way

Tim Bredl finished in 4th picking up $170 and had no notches in his head hunting belt.

Grant Pepper was the second of the staff to fall giving up his bounty and taking 3rd place of $230, along with 2 bounties he picked up along the way.

The heads up between Caleb and Andy was fairly one sided, Andy had lost a lot of his stack to Caleb before the final table and was hoping to get some of his chips back. Unfortunately the fairytale end to the tournament was not to be. Andy Zarro was our 2nd place finished picking up $290 and 2 bounties for the day for a nice payday from the $25 buy in.

However Caleb was the champion, Taking down the tournament win, and also picking up 2 bounties plus his own unclaimed bounty. 1st place was $345, and Caleb also took down last seasons longest lasting Bounty Gary Nicholson along the way, not too certain if knocking out the CEO along the way is a good career move. Either way Congratulations Caleb you are now the Longest Lasting Bounty and Winner of the Bounty event.
