I posted a clarification as there has been some inconsistancies and wanted to ensure everyone was on the same page.
The dols - where did you find this info? I am confused. Please let me know.
This matter is under consideration and I will be posting again if anything changes - and it will be for the new season.
Please keep posting your ideas as I will review them all and we will find a redraw system that enables a streamlined tourney, player participation and venue satisfaction.

Re: Poker Passport Redraws
Personally I believe the 2nd redraw should be on a sliding scale.
For example: If the tournament started with 30 or more, 1 name get,s called out, 40 or more 2 names get called out, 60 or more 3 names etc.
This is simply based on the fact that venues wish to make a profit and the 2nd redraw keeps knocked out players hanging around and spending money instead of just going home early. The amount of player (especially when near the end of the season and states places are up for grabs) who would hang around on the slight chance of getting called back in would be quite large in my opinion.
Anyway that's just my point of view

Annabelle, Originally when the redraw came in at 2nd break it was over 60 and more than 20. Well basically there was alot of problems as people were coming in with 20 left and basically going straight into the points and also smaller venues were not benefitting from people sticking around for 2nd redraw. Garth changed the rule to more than 40 runners and 25 or more players left at 2nd break. As you will see at the above link where those rules were initially up for discussion and then adopted. Maybe Garth could clarify. Everywhere I have played last couple of seasons has had the 40/25 rule now there seems a change without notice at week 9???

Re: Poker Passport Redraws
I would seriously doubt that there are TD's out there stuffing up for two whole seasons. It has been 60/25 for two seasons now.
However, if things have been going in your favour wouldnt you rather keep quiet about in the hope that it continues rather than posting it on the forum.
