Bounty Event
The Bounty event registration is open upstairs Poker Players. Jeff Fenech is a confirmed starter, Last Grand Final's last bounty standing is back, Garry Nicholson CEO of Full House Group is back. So to all come on down, $25 buy in, 3k start stack 20 minute blinds. Heaps of opportunities for some decent bank roll building by knocking out the bounties.

Bounty Update
As it stands just a shade over 100 in the bounty event. Some of the bounties to cash in and lay claim to, include Jeff Fenech, Sarah Franklyn, Gary Nicholson, Brayden Haynes and a few of the Tournament Captains from the 888pl. Including John Leech, Grant Pepper. a few others. Definitely your chance to get your revenge against the bad beats they have delivered.

Richards Recovers
Jason Richards and Jo McDonald create a 40k pot preflop, With Jason at risk with the [qs js] vs Jmack's [As Ks]
The board helped Jason immensely with the [jc 5h 2c] giving him top pair. The [7d td] not helping Jmack to get ahead in the hand.
Jason Richards ships the pots.
Nicole Survives
Our previous winner Nicole Dilaveris gets her money in against Jason Richards. Nicole shows the [Ks Kd] against Jason's [7d 7c]. The board runs out [ah 4s qc 9s 3s] to give Nicole a much needed double up and pushes her stack up to 30 odd thousand.

Re: Official S2 2009 Live Reporting Thread.
McLaughlan moves up the counts
In a big hand. Matt Dimech raises it to 3.5k preflop and is called by Allan McLaughlan, however Enzo Nuzzo reraises all in for an extra 35k. Matt after some deliberation folds. With the pressure on Allan tanks and eventually makes the call.
Enzo quickly rolls over his aces, and Allan slowly rolls his jacks. Matt claps his hand saying good fold, he then said he folded queens.
The board rolls over [jd 7h 2c] giving Allan top set. The rest of board bricked out bringing the [qd 6d]. With the Queen bringing an audible groan from Matt realising he could have had a huge boost if he had stayed in with his Queens.

Tales from the Felt.
At the 888pl Grand Final party last night. Gary Nicholson announced the movement of 888pl into Queensland. Allan McLaughlan is one of the qualifiers from the Sunshine State. Hopefully we hear a bit more about a few of the other Queensland players that are in the field today.

Bounty Event Update
98 Runners 26 Bounties. Definitely an easy way to get some cash. Just for all those interested Nathan Butler one of the SA Operations Supervisors got himself knocked out in the first 2 hands of the tournament. Trust me when i say we do have a lot better players than that in our management teams and even in the Sportspick division as well, who don't event know how to play poker.
