RE DRAW FACILITY
At the end of the first break completed cards will be redrawn any player who is still live will receive an additional $1000 and any player who is out of the tournament will receive an additional $2000.
Number of redraws is dependant on players:
Tournaments with less than 40 runners will do 3 draws.
Tournaments with more than 40 runners will do 5 draws.
For tournaments with 60 or more runners a second draw will be conducted at the completion of the second break. Only players who have being eliminated from the tournament can be redrawn. There will be two draws for $2000 in chips.
Please Note: If at any time the tournament has only 20 runners or less no re draw is to be made.

Hi Annabelle
May i ask why you are telling us this when this has been the redraw system for a few seasons now?

Some tournament staff may have been doing things slightly differently. ie doing the second draw if there were more than 20 players remaining, even if there were less than 60 starters. By making a public announcement, staff now have something to fall back on when 20 players a night ask "Why aren't you doing a second draw? So&so always does a second draw!!"

therw should allways be 5 redraws it give people my incentive to stamp up knowing they might also get drawn out for a bouns $1000.
and another this draws and the 2nd brake allso if pull out a player who is under the 2k i reackon the player should also get there stack made up 2 2k. there is nothing worse than seeing some one come in at the 2nd brake with more than u and u have been playing all night.

Yeah, if your name is called out at the 2nd break and you've got a stack under 2000, you should be chipped up to 2000.

Just while we're all giving an opinion on this matter, I do not think you should be chipped up to 2k if you're under - it wouldn't keep as many people hanging around for the venue, which is the whole point of it I believe.

I think you should indeed be chipped up to 2k AND still draw another name to make up for it.
There's no polite way to say what I'm really thinking so I won't

Yes it sucks to have somebody next to you come back into the tournament with 2k, if you are sitting there with 1k.
But think about this,
You are dominating a table, knocking 3 people out and having another 3 people down to short stacks, One player had 1500 left, one player 1000 and the UTG player had just one big blind (600) left before the second break.
Yet after the break, you come back to find all players with 2k in front them. Now THAT would piss me off. This scenario compromises the integrity of the competition to a far greater extent.
The redraw system works fine in my opinion. Maybe players who are still in the game AND drawn out AND with less than 2k could be chipped to that amount, but how often would that actually happen.
Why are we on this topic again?
