888PL – the revolution in pub poker is here!

The team a Full House Group, that brings you the superior pub poker competition under the National Poker League brand in Vic, SA and TAS, is proud to announce the latest in a long line of innovations – 888Poker League.

We have partnered with premier online poker site 888 to bring you a true revolution in the pub poker scene to bring you 888PL.

The 888PL is Australia’s first fully integrated online and in venue poker league. The 888PL gives players more choice than ever before.

So what does this mean for you?

Ø More Games

Ø More choice

Ø More prizes

Ø More seats into major tournaments

Ø The opportunity to win your way to your share of $100k!!

Here’s a quick snapshot of the 888PL

Ø We have retained the things you love about the NPL – our fantastic, fun, free in venue games throughout the three states – our newly named Away Games. This is now known as the Foundation (FREE) Division and each season you will earn points to win your place in the Semi-Finals and then the 888PL Grand Final

Ø Now we have these same games online called Home Games and they also count in the Foundation Division points

Ø To take the challenge for players to the next level we have introduced the Challenge (Buy In) Division. These games are played both Home (online) and Away (in venue) and have two paths to the 888PL Grand Final – the Qualifying Final and the Semi-Final

Ø Then of course the big game – the 888PL Grand Final. Each season it is expected to be a $100k tournament with the winner taking home the coveted Premiership Cup.

On top of all that we have the Dream Team $20 Score Board where the winner will take home the Gold Chip Medal!

If you hadn’t already guessed, the 888PL is all about Poker. Sport. Life.

We know the answer to the question – is poker a sport? Do you?

The 888 Poker League is divided into two divisions now:

* The Foundation Division: This is the freeroll league and the part of the competition that you all would know so well. Participate in any Challenge division game, be it at Home (Online) or in venue (Away) and finish in the top 5 point scorers at the end of the season and you will qualify for the Foundation $6,000 Semi Final

* The Challenge Division: This division of the league introduces the buy in tournaments to our players. Buy in events will be introduced into the states of South Australia and Victoria over the coming months but if you would like to get in early jump online @ 888 and start participating in any of the Challenge events we have listed; there will be at least three per day. Perform well in the Challenge events over a season and you could qualify for the Challenge $10,000 Semi Final.

* Qualifying Finals: These events will be held monthly and you can win seats into this event by winning at any of our regular Challenge Away events or through our nightly Home Qualifying Satellites. Play in this final and one in ten players will be lucky enough to win seats into the 888PL Grand Final with an expected $100,000 prize pool. For more information on the Qualifying Finals please refer to 888PL Monthly Qualifying Final found under the Prizes and Promotions tab.

* $20,000 Dream Team Scoreboard: We now introduce a truly national Leader Board. All 888PL members from across the nation will compete for the honors of winning this Dream Team Scoreboard, $5,000 in cash and the Gold Chip Medallion. Check out the Dream Team Scoreboard payouts HERE.

* Home Game Fixture: The home game fixture now offers plenty of activity and excitement for all 888PL players, at least three freerolls and the buy in events will be offered daily, and the action really heats up on the weekend when we offer TWO deepstack events and introduce Pot Limit Omaha to all of our players.
