888PL Dream Team - CROWN WSOP SAT - UPDATES

Well today's tournament kicked off @ 2.10pm local time.

100 players have taken their seats and are looking to be one of the lucky three to claim a WSOP Main Event package valued at $16,000.

All the players have just headed off for the first break and 888PL have 13 players remaining out of our starting 21.

The last hand before the break saw some serious action with highs and lows to match.

Scott Murrin is now crippled and has 300 chips when he got his 3K stack in pre holding 99 but ran into the BB's JJ. Unfortunately the board bricked and Scott is left to wait ten minutes before he can ship that half a BB into the middle.

On another table Chris Trudgeon has found a double up when he got his short stack into the middle with AJ and found a caller holding KQ suited. The door was an Ace and he survived the turn and the river to double through to come back to the start stack of 5K.

With the field thinned down and fewer players left to monitor the updates will be more speedy.

58 Players remain
300/600 Blinds
Avg - 8,620

Chris 'Satanicus" Trudgeon - 5,000
Mike "Wabbit" Subacius - 7,000
Duncan - 13,000
Kon Koroneos - 9,000
Carmine De - 10,000
Scott Murrin - 300
David Symons - 11,000
Sanchez Chu - 1,500
Jo "Jmack" McDonald - 15,000
Phil "Sinitser" Lambert - 3,500
Pat Dillon - 8,000
Amber Villarosa - 5,000
Dakota "Nice River" Tran - 11,000

More updates to come.

Some action in quick succession.

Scott Murrin quadruples up holding 88 and finds a caller with 33. An 8 on the flop seals the deal and scott builds his stack to 1200. Unfortunately the very next hand he has half his stack invested with the BB and moves all in and finds a caller and is eliminated. I missed the action and the hand.

Amber Villarossa is the next one out when she ships her 3K stack in with 88 and the BB wakes up with QQ.

The action should be plenty over the next two levels as we see a jump from 300/600 to 500/1000.

I missed all the action but Kon Koroneos was eliminated earlier.

SANCHEZ FINDS A DOUBLE UP.

Sanchez had found a tablemate who talks and carries on more than himself at a poker table in local poker identity "Carwash" George.

George has recently been kind enough to double Sanchez up when he raised on the button with Q9 and Sanchez came over the top with AK and George was priced in to call.

The door card was a King and Sanchez only had to sweat the turned gutshot draw and he found a double up to just on 5k.

CARMINE GONE

Carmine got into a bit of a bind when he found himself holding KT on a K,J, 7 flop and facing a re raise from the PF raiser.

Carmine called off the rest of his stack to find himself well behind the AA of his opponent. The turn card bought a few more outs when the 9 landed but unfortunately the river bricked a 3.

39 Players remain - avg = 12,820.

Current Chip Counts:

Pat Dillon - 5K
Wabbit - 7K
Jmack - 15K
Sanchez - 5K
James Allchin - 30K - this guys is playing some seriously solid poker with 3 and 4 betting the norm. One to watch.

David Symons - 7K
Dakota - 12K
Chris Trudgeon - 10K
Duncan - 3K

In recent eliminsations Phil is sent to the rail in a BvB situation when he shoved on Wabbit and was called. Wabbit had j9 and hit a pair and the turn and river bricked all of Phil's drawa.

JMACK takes down 2 big pots.

In two quick hands Jmack has eliminated Pat Dillon and Carwash George.

Jmack called Pat's all in reshove with K8 suited and was running slightly behind the A9 of Pat.
Pat spiked his nine on the flop but the running spades would bring heartache to Pat as he lost to a flush.

The very next hand James Allchin raises to 1,800 and finds himeslef with Jmack and Carwash Geroge flattng behind. The flop presents with J,Q, 2 and George and James check and JMACK bets 4,000. George moves all in for his remaining 1k and James tanks.

James evetually folds and shows AK and Geroge quips - you were way in front with that Ace.

He is prvoen right when Jo rolls AT and George has K9. The turn and river brick and Jo picks up the pot and eliminates two players.

WABBIT gone.

In a hand that I missed I find Mike all in holding AA and his opponent holds JJ. The flop presents a Jack and the table lets out a groan. Unfortunately Mike does not spike a miracle Ace and is now out of the tournament.

My power is running low so I will recap chipcounts and big hands at certain intervals now.

I just saw DT loses a junk of change when his turn two piar was out ran by a river the four flushed the board.

Chris Trudgeon is out. I don't know how, but his seat is empty.

Sanchez has been on a tear recently and has doubled up in consecutive hands to put him in contention with over 15,000.

AsI was writing the last post, Sanchez had a huge double up and I got to the tale in time to see the dealer ship "Coolcall" th 40K pot.

20 left, 1000/2000 AVG = 24,000

Sanchez - 40K
James Allchin - 23K
David Symons - 5K
Dakota Tran - 45K (even after doubling up a short stack)
JMack - 15K

Some big clashes flying about.

DAKOTA doubles a Shortstack when he raises from early position to 9k with A9 and the cutoff re shoves for 9.5 with AK. the board runs out, J,2,3,3,7 for almost a chop and the player doubles up.

Sanchez is the epitome of a heater in a big clash he faces a pre flop raise from a middle position player to 9K. Sanchez re raises to 25K and the MP player tank calls.

The flop falls J,T,2 and the MP players moves all in and Sanchez Snaps it off.

Sanchez is holding AA to be a mile in front of MP with AT. The turn and river pair the boar and Sanchez ships a 70K pot.

JMACK CRIPPLED when he puts a player all in on a K,Q,J board with K4. His opponent snaps it off with T,9 for the flopped straight and JMAck is crippled.

Final Table.

10 left, top 4 get paid. Average stack is 50,000.

We have three players left.

Dakota - 35K
Sanchez Chu - 80K
James Allchin - 55K

The last hand before the elimination saw James A raise 3x to 9K from UTG and found a caller in the CO.

The CO had 4K left behind.

As the flop falls J,J,8 James moves all in and the CO quickly calls.

James has A7 and the CO has 6,6. This turns out to be a good flop for James. Unfortunately the river and turn bring running deuces and James loses 13K of his stack.
