To a small degree they are.

Well - yeah - they are the ones paying for you to be there


The NPL is like a band.
A band that plays in 140 venues a week.

The venue only hires the band because it gets more people through the door, who hopefully will spend money there.

If people didn't spend money, they wouldn't hire the band.

We've badgered most of the venues up this neck of the woods enough to conform to the unnofficial standard. Maybe you should switch regions

I can tell you now, coming from Gawler, the major reason most of our venues get so many runners is because the bar staff are so generous with stamps. The players are accustomed to it now, and anything less is sacrilege.

For example, last month the Old Spot would get 45-55 runners. The first week after their stamp policy changed? 34.
