Modbury Plaza Hotel

Excellent venue for a Wednesday night game with good friendly players. The bar staff are very friendly and the food is good, reasonably priced, and is consistently brought out in a very reasonable time frame.

The space for tables has become somewhat cramped after the available room was reduced late in the first season, but the venue is still a good one to visit and is 'kept' in excellent condition.

Purchasing dinner will grant you a fully stamped card and most pints and bottles of alcoholic beverages are given 2 stamps.

The modbury is indeed a good venue.

Happy to report that all of the above is true, unlike some of the other nazi-like venues! The venue/staff seem to realise that every1 is doing them a favour by being there.

Yep it can be, but I've suffered thru a session (or several) at the Tower Hotel which hosts the poker in the sportsbar.

Sardine City.

So I tend to overlook this at the Modbury :)

Hey all

Pictures aren't too great, I was bitter from being dumped out early.
