Well as all the regulars know the Old Spot Gawler is the place to go!

Monday nights 6.30 for 7.30.

Not only do you have a great TD but it is a great environment.

The staff is friendly, table service comes before you think about it. This venue wants to make NPL Poker all it should be!!

Especially good for a feed if you are starving! They have a huge meal deal, if you manage to get through a Massive $16 Schnitzel you get a free beer. Not sure, but don't think any of the NPL players have actually managed to get through one!!

Stamps are good value for money.

The Old Spot in Gawler is holding an end of season special

When you make your first purchase at the bar, they will stamp up both of your passports!!! Yes, you heard right. Both cards stamped up at the beginning of play for your first purchase!!

So if you have no chance of making the finals anywhere else, why not make the trip down. It is well worth it.

Don't forget the MASSIVE $16 Schnitzel deal (seriously, it is enough to feed 3).

They said that about the schnitzel at the mawson lakes and i smashed it, so shannon i think i will take your challenge, see you soon matey

Those schnitzels are bloody huge, much bigger than the mawsons one.

Also, the old spot is a great venue. the poker is of a high quality, and there arent any "super serious persons" that take it way too seriously. And with the full stamp ups, its a cheap night out.

Swore i would never go back to Old Spot after the bar staff made me purchase 8 pre mix scotches @ $7ish to fill my cards and then the manager told Dakota when he was TD there if anyone else complains about he's stamping system he will stamp their heads, Im sure Dakota remembers that comment. To me that's not great service and ill stick to my word and stay away,
Schnitzels are great tho! as is all there food.

Well Chris, the most that I can say to your statement is this....

That is very unfortunate. The Old Spot Gawler has recently undergone a multitude of changes to entice the players back. There is extra staff on every Monday and meals are served very promptly.

The Old Spot is committed to the NPL players and the Publican, Steve, is listening to the players and implementing all changes that are suggested.

I am sure that there will be a large surge for Monday the 17 December!!

Good luck to them, the Bar Staff are excellent the meals beautiful and you and the players are great, and hope they pack the place out but a comment made to myself and others then to walk out from behind the bar upto dakota and say the next comment is not on in my books, wish them the best but no Chris comming back!
