why would someone buy a stubbie when a pint costs less and gives more? any reasonable venue has 2 stamps for any pint.

For me it comes down to the price of the stubbie vs the price of the pint. If the offer is a $4 stubby, which still equates to $96 per carton, then it's still reasonable.
Still... having said that. You can't argue with the cash prize for first and I have seen many worse offers with the stamp system.
