Barossa / Gawler FTT this saturday

Postby Matty Norwood » Tue Feb 17, 2009 9:00 pm

Hi Everbody

This saturday sees the B/G FTT tournament being held at the Bentleys Hotel in clare. 1 FTT accumulated any where state wide will gain you entry inot this tournament.

The game has been capped at 150 players due to venue restraints so if your planning on heading up better get in early, long way to drive for no game. On that note i am taking pre registrations for those who definitely want to make the trip.

I have allready recieved 30 pre rego's from B/G players and a couple from other regions. If you wish to pre rego please be 100 percent definite you are going to attend.

To pre rego either place your name and npl number on this thread or email me at matthew.norwood@npl.com.au

cheers
matty

If Renee's going I'm staying home. :o

Last night was about all that any normal person with normal hearing can take. Screaming Renee & Tracey, Zack say no more, Darren and Des after a few drinks, LOL all on the same table was not a good idea Matty.

You know I luv you Renee but last night was a little hard on the ears so next week it's tampons or ear muffs, LOL

Unfortunately I've had to miss the FTT at Clare as something unforeseen did come up. :(

My youngest son Joel is house hunting and found two that he has arrange to view. And yes, mum says I've got to be there for support and probably a deposit too if it's needed. :o

So, good luck to those who are having a great day in Clare I wish I was there. :D

i attended this event, but if i knew what it was gonna be like, i would've had second thought, Bentleys Hotel is a great venue, matty, tom and andre did a great job, but i wasn't happy with the table i was on, table talking, going into mucks, touching other players chips and it wasnt the B&G players, and what annoyed me more, one certain player on my table thought he could be a smartarse the whole time.

i think its a crap idea to make the B&G FTT event open to every player in the state, you could've done in another way, or maybe im old fashioned and liked the way it was.
I'm gonna take over the world

It wasn't the B&G FTT tourney, it was a FTT Tourney held in the B&G!

i must admit the riverland FTT ( or the FTT held in the riverland for bacon) while well run and imense fun, did have the same issues

i noticed a lot of muck checking and rabiting, some fairly bad behaviour ( including some realy bad drunken carry on) and have heard of some issues of people mucking around with the dead stacks on the table including suposed chip theft

Im sure its a coincedence but it is funny that both events had these incidents.
Does anyone know how to make money playing uno vs 6 year olds, its about the only card game i get to play these days.
