NPL in Canberra

Does anyone know why NPL hasn't ventured into Canberra yet? I notice that there are no "free pub poker leagues" at all, is there legislation that prevents them from running it there?
Guessing it would be affiliated more with NSW than being a separate state to NSW.
Also population size. Hotel sizes, Might be only a few venues that could hold poker. Also they have a casino, so a lot easier for people to get to that and play.
