How would you react to these.

At a live venue last week I all most had a massive dummy spit, now I'm bordering on being a grump old plick, but I had 2 older than me players on my table.

The day started off with where 1 constantly grabbing change from in front of other players whilst other players still had to act, when it was my turn to deal I told the player to leave the chips alone it was the dealers responsibility to handle the chips......this wasnt well received.

Then we had to contend with both of them babbling away in Greek whist both were in the hand.

Next old bugger no 2 who was sitting to my right made a call and as I announced raise and reached reached for chips, he mucked his cards and grabbed his flat call.

A few hand later old bugger no 1 who is dealer and I'm the BB makes a raise from the button, SB(OB2) folds after a short period, the dealer had the deck in his hand and it looked like he was looking at the cards to come, I challenged him requesting that the deck be reshuffled before I make my play.

In the last 2 cases the TC was called to rule on the occurances, in th 1st the player had to leave his chips in and cards remained mucked, and the 2nd the deck was reshuffled, what almost put me in tilt was both these players have been playing since NPL/888PL started, they been allowed to get away with this BS time after time. The TC laid down the law after the 2nd encounter.

I don't really see the issue here.

There were players breaking the rules.

You called the TC over.

He warned them.

In both instances the right thing occurred (you were allowed to keep his chips, the deck was reshuffled).

I really think your reaction was the appropriate one which was to call the TC over and let them make the final ruling. Even if you are right, and you definitely were, the correct action to take is to refer the dispute to the TC who can independently assess the situation and make an appropriate decision. They can also take any action necessary if the problem persists or if the situation escalates.
