This is how I played too. The original Raise pre flpp must be minimum te big blind, then any re raises must be minimum the previous raise. The post flop, any raise must be equal to or greater the previous raise!!! Gosh this ounds so confusing but I don't think it actually is!!!

SB 50 BB100, UTG raises to 300 (200 raise) next wants to re raise so it must be a minimum raise of 200 taking it to a 500 bet at minimum

Then post flop, bet is say, 500, if someone wants to raise they need to go to 1000 minimum total bet and so on.

Is this correct? I hope so because I dont like being wrong!!!!! :D :D

I might also add that there is another poker league out there that touts itself as a free texas hold em league. But do not play hold em rules.
I played there several times in Vic and had the unfortunate scenario of the below occur twice with two different staff members:
Blinds 100/200
I raise to 1000 UTG.
Everyone folds to the BB he re raises to 1200
I say that's not a legitimate raise, I get shouted down by the table. TD is called over and says a legal raise is the BB. I say you have to be kidding to me.
He says I know you do it that funny way in the league you run, but this is the proper rules of hold em.
I laugh uproariously, and say well ok if it is a legal raise I re raise to 1800
BB raise to 2000
I move all in he calls. I smash his ducks with my rockets or kings in both scenarios.

I then continue to re raise the size of the BB in every hand and then move all in with ATC for the remainder of the tourney annoying a lot of people.

Nicole, I'm still laughing about you pointing out that lady's stringbet at our recombine table in the final. Can't believe you said something before I did :P

Also can't believe someone can even make state final playing like that. Surely she must have slack TD's in whatever region she's from.
Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

That's also true, but I know which one I think actually applies :P
