I always cap my cards with a card guard. I hate it when I take the Val and forget to get one of my card gaurds out of the Ford. Last week at the Kingy I took the Val and sure enough, no card gaurd. :o

So, I look up at my mirror and I have a chinese good luck token with tassles and beads and a square hole in the middle. So, not to be without my card gaurd I take it down and disassembled it down to just the charm and some red tassles.

GOOD LUCK MY ARSE!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was on my second card before the first break and down to $700 when we came back. Everyone on the table were laughing there arses off as I said I'm putting it back where it came from.

Well, so much for chinese lucky tokens. I turned my $700 into a final table $45k plus change and finished an unforgiving hard earned second. :D

My other phobia is .................. Yes, here I go again. Players who sit in between the cups on an oval tables and want to put there beer in both cup holders. Thank god the Wheat Sheaf players know where they should be sitting. :o

Someone said in another post that it doesn't happen on round tables because the TD's put the seats behind the cups. Well again it seems the country folk are more forward thinkers than those in the city. :D

Because, at the Kingy the punters have to actually get their own chairs and put them behind the cup holders. :)

Bob, you should know I don't bluff. Very often.

I'm not clever enough to remember the above

my chips have to be neatly stacked (then u usually shuffle them and have to restack them again)

when i get dealt the hole cards, they have to sit neatly 1 on top of the other, with the long edge facing the rail.

when i look at the cards, i look at the first one then slide the second out from behind the first (although this sometimes conceals the cards a bit - i thought A4 was AA once, luckily noone called when i bet big)

when i am dealing, burn cards off to one side neatly staggered. flop is dealt 3 cards face down then i turn them up showing the window and then slide them to reveal the flop. a bit like they do at the casino but not as classy as that.

flop turn and river have to be in a straight line, and the chips have to be stacked in the pot.

thats about it (i wonder if this is mondayitis talking, or whether i actually have OCD LOL)

as far as phobias go, i would have to say djkrusty with a 10 in his hand is a pretty big one LOL

Well if the venue operators or TD's had enough sense there wouldn't be a problem. You don't see me spilling my bottle of coke over the table or the person next to me.

Go COUNTRY where the smart people are LOL only joking guys, really, only joking.

Funny you should say that Scotty. Because they were getting used to the plastic cups and the knives and forks that the city folk use when they go to Footy Park and other Venues like the Royal Show.

Yeah, city folk have got it so good.
:D
When they're finished eating they just leave their plastic bags with their plastic plates, cutlery and cups for someone else to clean up after them. :o

Getting off the subject a little, have you noticed that since they introduced the new !0 cents per can or bottle the roads, streets and parks etc, are cleaner?

My wife Donna is a Clinical Nurse and looks after 43 resident in a Nursing Home. Over the years they have collected the cans etc, to buy presents for the residents at Xmas time.

Last week some worthless prick decided they were more worthy of the cans and took the whole bloody lot. :(
