Geek Help Required (Nero)

Postby mr_niceguy_1979 » Thu Nov 06, 2008 9:37 pm

Hey, I'm looking for some help from anyone out there. I had the proper version of Nero when I bought my computer, and decided to update to a new version. Can't remember how I did it, but it totally stuffed things up and I can't even burn now, something to do with it not being the version bundled with my burner or something(?). Anyway, I'm after some guidance on obtaining a recent version of Nero that would work with any burner. Any advice that anyone has out there would be fantastic.

Note that I was getting the following message with the new version I upgraded to:
"Sorry, this version of nero can only be used with the recorder it has been bundled with"

In a pinch, CDBurnerXP also does the trick.

Probably would give Rcon's a whirl first. Use a different burner. I used Nero, and whilst it worked well. i felt it went slow.

But yeah torrent it and find a keygen or something.

I do not condone any form of piracy. Except movies now that the local theatre is shutting down on the 19th.

contrary to what brett has said, i have found nero to be really good - it is the only software that i have found that can actually do what i want

but i admit i haven't looked very hard for a replacement, as nero has served me well.

brice, i only included the link to the torrent site so that you can back up your software after you have bought it. of course priacy should not be condoned ;)

Be careful which version of nero u get to comply with which operating system you use with which service pack the operating system has ...... and as if that isn't enough to worry about.....do you have auto updates turned on?
